Several insistent rumors said that Alexander Wang will be the new head of the French maison Balenciaga recently orphaned of its historical Creative Director Nicolas Ghesquiere.
Nothing has already been confirmed, as you know web is perfect to creating rumors/ news (even when nothing has been officially defined) but I must say that the odds are very high.
The move would make a certain amount of sense given that Wang, with his rapidly expanding New York-based line, has shown that he can make the edgy commercial.
If the appointment is confirmed, he would bring a new perspective and a point of view to the brand totally different.
Otherwise, what I can already confirm is that today is officially the last day of Nicolas as Creative Director of Balenciaga.

Rumors sempre più insistenti parlano di Alexander Wang come nuova guida della maison francese Balenciaga da poco rimasta orfana del suo storico Direttore Creativo Nicolas Ghesquiere.
Niente è ancora stato confermato, come sapete il web è molto bravo a fare notizia (anche quando nulla è stato ufficialmente definito) ma devo dire che le probabilità sono davvero molto alte.
Se l'incarico venisse ufficializzato, egli porterebbe una prospettiva, un punto di vista ed uno stile sicuramente differenti al brand.
Quello che posso però confermrvi è che oggi è ufficialmente l’ultimo giorno di Nicolas alla guida della Maison!
