SRI LANKA: LAST 4 DAYS

After the relaxing time at the sea, we have spent our last 4 days in the famous cultural triangle.The best city - according to me - has been Sigiriya famous for its 200 metre high red stone fortress (we have climbed it!!!) and palace ruins which are surrounded by the remains of an extensive network of gardens, reservoirs and other structures. 
We have spent the last night in Dambulla in the famous hotel Heritance Kandalama realized by the super famous local architect Geoffrey Bawa in the middle of the nature!

Dopo i giorni al mare ci siamo spostati nel famoso triangolo culturale. La mia città preferita è stata sicuramente Sigiriya, famosa per la roccia, o meglio la dura placca magnetica eredità di un vulcano ormai eroso, di 200mt che si trova in cima ad una collina ed è ovviamente visitabile e scalabile! (come abbiamo fatto noi!)
L'ultimo giorno siamo stati a Dambulla dove abbiamo soggiornato nel famoso hotel Heritance Kandalama disegnato dall'architetto locale G.Bawa e famoso per essere completamente immerso nella natura.
